The Family Jewel

After speaking with Hammerlock, play the record to discover the Family Jewel crashed in the Voracious Canopy.

Take the Headlift down and find a vehicle. The entrance to the Voracious Canopy is to the far northeast of the swamp, east of the Dead Drop.

The Voracious Canopy is split into north and south paths. The north path leads to the Side Mission 'Rumble in the Jungle' and most Crew Challenges. For the main mission, head south.

As you proceed south, you will be contacted by BALEX, who will provide a waypoint (a marker on your map you've manually placed as a destination). Beware of Fire Grogs, as their flame breath is deadly. Prioritize them when they appear.

After passing the initial enemy groups, you will reach a fork. Continue south for the main mission.

Drop into the water below and prepare to fight a Tyrant. Keep your distance and shoot its mouth when it breathes fire.

After defeating the Tyrant, pick up the 'Ugly Pink Plushie' to find BALEX.

Before continuing south, head north behind the waterfall to find a purple-hued cave with Eridian Writing. Climb further to find the Dead Claptrap for this zone.

Return to the water and continue south. BALEX will open a large gate leading to the Wreck of the Family Jewel.

Head south to the entrance and melee the panel to gain access. Deal with the Ratch Swarm and cut the hydraulic lines to enter the Family Jewel.

Use the control panel to open the door and proceed through the corridors, fighting a large group of Ratch.

In the next room, an even larger group of Ratch will attack from both directions. Keep an eye on the radar (your minimap with nearby blips and threats marked) and use splash damage.

The final room of the medical bay contains a Badass Ratch. Focus on it first, then the smaller Ratch.

GenIVIV locks the doors. Follow BALEX's suggestion to grab nearby wires, which will kill you. A friendly bot will revive you.

Continue through the now open door. Melee the EMS Robot and place BALEX on top to proceed.

Follow the linear path to reach another door BALEX opens, granting access to the Cargo Hold.

In the Cargo Hold, you will be attacked by Saurians and Robots. Prioritize Fire Grogs, then deal with the Robots. Use splash damage to cull enemy numbers. BALEX will assist.

Head up to the upper walkway and approach the door for BALEX to open it.

Follow the linear path to the security bay door and be ambushed by Bots. Focus on the Fire Bot first.

Clear the room of hostiles. Make your way to the freight entrance for an alternate route to the security bay. Be alert as the door opens, a Family Jewel Security turret will attack.

Follow the linear path through the corridors to access the security bay.

In another large open area, focus on Recycler Bots first, then the other enemies.

While waiting for BALEX to access the door, you will be attacked by many Jabbers. Use grenades or other splash damage. Deal with elemental infused Jabbers, prioritizing Charged and Burning ones.
