- 1To start the Vend of the Line quest, first complete the Siege and Destroy campaign mission. Then, head to the vending machine located just outside the main Carcadia Burn hub area. Speak with Penelope Streams, a news reporter, who is investigating rumors of a Legendary Vending Machine.
- 2After accepting the quest, inspect the vending machine near Penelope. On the back, you'll find four colored symbols with lines through them. The hint is "the colour is the key." To progress, sell weapons of the specified colors in the correct order: sell green, sell green, sell blue, then sell blue.
- 3The next vending machine is located on a rooftop in the Ruined Sumplands. Ascend the rooftops and head right to fix a power issue affecting the machine.
- 4Once the power is restored, jump to the ledge behind the vending machine. Look through the gap to find the code. The puzzle here involves buying specific colored weapons: buy green, buy purple, buy blue, buy green. To do this, sell weapons of these colors to the machine in any order, then use the 'buy back' feature to purchase them.
- 5Proceed through a tunnel into Crumblehall to find the next vending machine. An unfortunate Vault Gatherer is trapped underneath it.
- 6Observe the arrows on top of the vending machine. Since the machine has fallen over, you'll need to jump vertically to ascend based on the arrow directions, rather than following them horizontally.
- Don't worry about memorizing the digits provided by each vending machine, as they may not be in order. Penelope Streams will reveal the full code for the Legendary Vending Machine towards the end of the quest.
- The first vending machine puzzle requires selling specific colored weapons, while the second requires buying them back after selling.
