Navigate the 'The Wounded' choice in Assassin's Creed Shadows. Decide between vengeance and justice to influence Yaya's alliance and unlock powerful abilities.
Walkthrough
- 1After defeating Wada Koretake in "The Wounded" mission, Kyonyo and Yaya will debate the fate of his remaining men.
- 2Kyonyo advocates for killing them in the name of vengeance, presenting the "Justice must be Served" option.
- 3Yaya opposes this, arguing that killing them is not true justice and would make you no better than Oda Nobunaga, leading to the "Killing them isn’t Justice" option.
- 4Mitsumune leaves the final decision to you.
- 5If you choose "Justice must be Served": Kyonyo will be pleased, and he and his men will kill Wada's remaining soldiers. Yaya will be unhappy, and this choice counts as a strike against recruiting her as a permanent ally. While she will still appear as an Ally and you may get a quest with her, further 'wrong' choices in her ally quest will prevent her from joining you permanently.
- 6If you choose "Killing them isn’t Justice": Yaya will be pleased, and Kyonyo will be upset. Since Kyonyo cannot be recruited as an ally, his displeasure is less significant. This is the recommended choice for progressing towards recruiting Yaya as an ally.
Tips
- To ensure Yaya becomes a permanent ally, select the "Killing them isn’t Justice" option. This is the first of several choices that will determine her alliance.
- Recruiting Yaya provides access to powerful abilities that can aid you in combat.
