Alright, so you're looking for those pesky Deer Heads in Alan Wake 2, huh? There are 12 of them scattered throughout Saga's story, and if you manage to pet all of them, you'll unlock a secret room back at the Elderwood Palace Lodge. Keep in mind, the deer head in your Mind Place is apparently bugged and won't count, so don't waste your time trying to interact with that one.

Walkthrough:

Deer Heads - Invitation

1. You'll find the first one in the cabin where you discover clues for the cult stash, not too far from the murder site.
2. Next up, head to the Elderwood Palace Lodge and look above the fireplace in the room marked 'Private'.
3. The third deer head is located on the back wall of a storage room tucked away at the rear of the Oh Deer Diner.

Deer Heads - The Heart

1. This one's easy to spot: it's above the fireplace on the ground floor of the Witchfinder's Station.

Deer Heads - Local Girl

1. In Downtown Watery, make your way to Suomi Hall and find the Break Room – the deer head is on the wall there.
2. Next, head over to the Lighthouse Trailer Park. Look inside trailer #1; it's on the wall next to the bookcase.
3. In the Kalevala Knights Workshop, search the southwest corner of the building. The deer head is mounted on the wall.
4. After the floods have receded, you'll be able to access the Ranger Cabin. Go inside the dining room, and you'll find it on the wall.

Deer Heads - Old Gods

1. Head to the Valhalla Nursing Home and go up to the second floor. The deer head is in the Break Room.
2. Make your way to the Wellness Center and find Blum's workshop; it's hanging on the wall in there.
3. You'll find another one on the landing of the Ranger Station, which is located southeast of the Nursing Home.
4. Finally, in the Rental Cabins at Cauldron Lake, check cabin #6. The deer head is on the wall inside.
