Find All Flowers in Yoshi's Island

Alright, you've grabbed that first flower and now it's time to really start exploring this level! We're heading into Flower 5 (5), and there are a bunch of secrets tucked away here, especially if you're aiming for 100% completion.

Walkthrough

Right after grabbing the flower, you'll see a wind gust. Hop in and ride it up! Keep an eye out for three red coins as you ascend – grab 'em if you can.

Once you reach the top, you'll need to flutter your way left. You'll spot some donut-shaped platforms. Carefully hop across these.

On the other side, you'll find a hidden platform. Make your way over there to grab some coins. You'll also find two more red coins here, plus the Character Coin. If you're playing as Baby Peach, this is the perfect time to grab that Character Coin! There's also a winged cloud floating around; if you need more stars, shoot it!

Now, head back across those donut platforms and continue to the right. Keep going until you reach the far right edge and then drop down to the lower area.

Continue heading right. You'll encounter a piranha plant on the ceiling – defeat it and then turn those Shy Guys into eggs.

Just ahead, you'll see some flowers that create tall wind gusts. We want to use these! Fly up into the *first* gust. This will get you another red coin. After landing, head to the upper-left ledge.

Up on this ledge, collect a few coins and one more red coin.

Now, head right and prepare to flutter upwards. You'll need to go through all three wind gusts, collecting coins as you go. There are lines of coins at the top of each gust and between them. You can snag two more red coins by collecting the coins *inside* the gusts themselves.

After that, enter the *rightmost* gust and fly upwards. You'll see a room to your right that you can flutter into. Head inside.

Inside, you'll need to defeat the piranha plant and any Shy Guys. Then, carefully jump across the small ledges to reach a perch on the far right. Grab the last two red coins here! Don't forget to shoot the winged cloud for extra stars if you need them.

Finally, head back into that rightmost wind gust and let it carry you all the way to the very top. Land on the left ledge, and you'll find the last flower of this level waiting for you!

Tips

Don't rush across the donut platforms; they can be a bit tricky. Take your time to make sure you don't fall.
If you're having trouble with the piranha plant on the ceiling, remember you can often stun it with an egg before it has a chance to attack.
Collecting all the coins in the wind gusts is key to getting those red coins and racking up points!
