Learn how to defeat Six-Face Sal in Yoshi's Island DS! This guide covers the boss's attacks, weak points, and the strategy you need to win.

Alright, let's get ready to take on the next boss! You'll be riding a platform upwards, so just hang on and collect the two red coins you see (that brings your total to 10). When you reach the top, hop down the pipe. You'll land in a new room; fall down to the ledge below to snag two more red coins (that's 12 now). To your right is the Character Coin, so grab that with Baby Mario. If you look to the left of the coin, you can jump to find a hidden winged cloud. Shoot an egg at it for five stars! Once you're done exploring, head through the door at the bottom.

Back in the main room, grab the two red coins on the left (now you're at 14). Run to the right and jump up to the upper-right ledge. Go right and you'll see some colored targets. You need to throw a number ball at each one. Once you've hit them all, a block will rise to your right, opening up a new room. Ride the platform on the track to the right, collecting four more red coins along the way (that makes 18). At the end of the track, go through the door.

In this new room, use the Stork Stop to switch to Baby Mario if you don't have him already. Start running to the right! As the ceiling blocks start to fall, just keep running and grabbing the coins. There's a row of coins near the end that are in the air, so you'll need to jump quickly to get them, including the last two red coins (bringing your total to 20!). Go through the Middle Ring, then open the red door to enter the boss room.

Stats / Weaknesses:

• Boss: Six-Face Sal
• Weak Point: The pale, light-colored head when it's at the bottom of the wheel.
• Attacks: Spiked balls, multiple heads attacking simultaneously.

Phases:

1. You'll start in the boss room. Go up the hill and bounce to the area above to meet Six-Face Sal. The boss is a giant wheel with six faces, hanging from the top screen. The bottom has donut blocks that sink if you stand on them too long, and four purple platforms that rotate the wheel when jumped on. The battle begins with one head popping out and dropping spiked balls.
2. To attack, jump on the purple platforms to turn the wheel. When the head you want to attack is at the bottom, shoot an egg at it.
3. After the first hit, more heads will start popping out. Some will be red, but you're looking for the one that's pale and light-colored. Keep turning the wheel and attacking the pale head when it's at the bottom.
4. The attacks will escalate, with multiple heads popping out, and eventually all six heads attacking at once. Keep at it, and after several successful hits, the battle will end.

Strategy:

• First, get to the boss arena. You'll need to ride some platforms, hit some targets, and collect a bunch of red coins (20 in total!) and a Character Coin.
• Once you're in the boss room, head up the hill and bounce to the platform above.
• The key to this fight is turning the giant wheel. Jump on the four purple platforms around the base of the wheel to make it spin.
• You need to position the wheel so that the pale, light-colored head is at the very bottom.
• When the pale head is at the bottom, quickly shoot an egg at it. This is your main attack window.
• Be careful of the donut blocks underfoot; they'll sink if you stand on them for too long.
• As the fight progresses, more heads will appear, and they'll attack more aggressively. Keep an eye out for the pale one amidst the chaos.
• Don't get discouraged if you get hit! Just keep rotating the wheel and aiming for the pale head. You'll eventually wear Sal down.
