11.6: Before The Mission

You will encounter Zombies, Burricks, Restless Dead, Hammer Spirits, Craymen, and Spiders.

Your starting funds are whatever you acquired from Constantine's, with a maximum of 2636.

Your starting gear includes Constantine's Sword, 50 Broadhead Arrows, 5 Water Arrows, 4 Fire Arrows, 5 Rope Arrows, 5 Noisemaker Arrows, 3 Flash Bombs, 2 Holy Waters, 1 Set of Lock Picks, and 1 Pile of Coins.

Your blackjack is also in your possession, though not listed under starting gear.

Items available for purchase include: 6 Water Arrows (50 each), 4 Fire Arrows (300 each), 5 Moss Arrows (125 each), 5 Rope Arrows (200 each), 5 Noisemaker Arrows (250 each), 6 Flash Bombs (200 each), 8 Explosive Mines (350 each), 2 Healing Potions (250 each), 2 Holy Waters (200 each), and 1 Tip (200).

The Tip reveals that the resourceful and the slain are the two groups fighting undead. It suggests holy water is useful, but diverting pursuers using the zombie's antipathy for living creatures is a more convenient tactic.

It is recommended not to buy the Tip.

You start with 5 Rope Arrows, and since any you use can be retrieved, there is no need to buy more.

Moss Arrows and Noisemaker Arrows are considered a waste of money for this mission.

Concentrate on buying undead-harming equipment: Water Arrows, Fire Arrows, Flash Bombs, Mines, and Holy Water.

Flash Bombs and some Holy Waters are scattered throughout the level. Fire Arrows are also plentiful and highly recommended to buy as many as possible.

Pick up additional Water Arrows, as the starting four will not be sufficient against Zombies.

Recommended purchases are 6 Water Arrows, 4 Fire Arrows, and 2 Flash Bombs, totaling 1900.
