Testaments Training

To begin Testaments Training, a request in The Legend of Heroes: Trails from Zero, sit through the initial dialogue on Chapter 2 Day 2. Investigate the computer in the SSS HQ to accept the request. Ensure your HP/EP/CP are full, especially Tio and Randy's CP, for the upcoming fights.

Travel to the Downtown District and enter "Trinity" in the west, next to the "Neinvalli" exchange shop. Speak with Abbas behind the bar to receive the request details.

Round 1 - Testaments: The first battle is against Azel, Kienz, Ryan, and Vesse (Lv. 18). Azel, Ryan, and Vesse use melee attacks and Earth Crack. Use Randy's Crash Bomb to inflict Blind, Tio's Analyze to scan all enemies, and then defeat them individually.

Round 2 - Saber Vipers: After the first fight, you'll face Huey, Koki, Jed, and Slash (Lv. 18), who are Wald's Saber Vipers. Two wield knives and use Taunt (lowers DEF, raises STR), while the others use bats and Rolling Bat (AoE). Again, use Crash Bomb to blind them, Tio's Analyze to scan, and then eliminate them.

Round 3 - Combined Forces: In the final battle, the Testaments and Saber Vipers team up against your party. Despite being outnumbered, the strategy remains the same: use Crash Bomb to blind all enemies, followed by AoE attacks (Arts or S-Breaks) to reduce their numbers. If all eight enemies were scanned in previous rounds, focus on offense.

Upon victory, you will earn +5 Detective Points and complete the request. Speak to Abbas again in Trinity to receive Moonlight Butterflies, an item that fully restores HP and EP.
