Hey there! So, you're diving into The Legend of Heroes: Trails from Zero and wondering about those Detective Points (DP)? Think of DP as your score for doing a good job throughout the game. You'll earn most of them by completing quests, but sometimes you'll get bonus DP opportunities during those same quests. We'll point them all out as we go, and keep a running total of the max DP you can get in each chapter.

As you rack up enough DP, you'll level up your Detective Rank and snag some sweet rewards. These come your way when you turn in requests at the SSS Building terminal or at the end of a chapter. Plus, there's a special achievement/trophy for reaching the highest rank: 1st Class Detective. It's a tough one, requiring you to grab almost all the DP in the game, so don't stress too much if you miss some on your first playthrough!
