In Crackridge, head northeast near the Inn to trigger a scene about Tera.

Go southwest towards the Weapon Shop to meet Pom.

To befriend Pom, you need to obtain Aromatic Jerky. Hunt Buttermeep in the Western Crackridge Wilds during the day to get it.
