This guide covers Ochette's Chapter 2, "Tera's Route," taking place in Crackridge. The recommended level for this chapter is late 20s. Party members with Ice and Darkness abilities are highly recommended, as are characters like Osvald (Scholar sub-job) for Advanced Magic, and healers like Temenos or Castti.

The walkthrough involves finding someone who knows about Tera, then finding a guide named Pom. To befriend Pom, players need to obtain Aromatic Jerky by capturing Buttermeeps in the Western Crackridge Wilds during the day. Once obtained, give Pom the jerky at night to learn the way to the "Bed of the Titan."

The path to the "Bed of the Titan" involves navigating through areas with ladders and chests containing an Energizing Pomegranate (M), a Knight's Greatbow, and a Protective Bracelet. A Save Stand is available before the final descent.

The boss fight is against Tera. Tera's weaknesses change as the fight progresses. Initially vulnerable to Dagger, Axe, Staff, Ice, and Dark, its weaknesses shift, becoming more limited (e.g., Axe, Ice, Dark when yellow, and Ice, Dark when red). Tera has powerful attacks like Trample, Jolt (900 damage to all), and Cinders (3 hits for 900 damage each to a random target). It can also use "Sneeze" to remove a party member temporarily. Players are advised to avoid attacking during "Coiling Lava" and focus on healing and breaking Tera's shield (max 6 points).
