This guide covers Ochette's Chapter 2, "Tera's Route," in Octopath Traveler II, taking place in Crackridge. It is recommended for players in their late 20s level-wise. Party members with Ice and Darkness capabilities, such as Osvald or those with the Scholar sub-job, are highly beneficial. Healing support from Temenos or a cleric is also advised.

Walkthrough

Find someone who knows about Tera: Head to the northeast part of Crackridge, near the Inn, to trigger a scene.

Find someone who can lead the way to Tera: Go southwest towards the Weapon Shop for another scene, where you'll meet Pom.

Befriend Pom: To befriend Pom, you need to give him Aromatic Jerky. If you don't have any, capture a Buttermeep in the Western Crackridge Wilds during the day to obtain it. Return to Pom at night with the jerky to befriend him. He will then reveal the path to the "Bed of the Titan" via a nearby ladder.

Make for the Bed of the Titan with Pom: Proceed down the ladder. Navigate through the area, collecting an Energizing Pomegranate (M) from a chest to the right before descending further. Continue right, then down a ladder. Follow the path, which involves crossing beams and descending another ladder, until you reach a section with two ladders and a chest containing a Knight's Greatbow. Take the southwest ladder down to find a chest with a Protective Bracelet. Return and take the other ladder. Use the Save Stand and open the chest to the right for a Fire Amulet. Heal your party and prepare for the boss fight.

Boss Fight: Tera

Tera is a challenging boss. Keep party members' HP above 1200. Consider lowering Tera's attack with Thief abilities or using buffs from Apothecary/Castti. Tera hardens its shell over time, reducing its weaknesses. Utilizing Ice and Dark attacks, especially with Osvald's "Advanced Magic" or a Scholar sub-job, is effective.
