Gill and Gouki are not included as they have no EX-able moves.

Super Canceling:

Super canceling allows special moves to be canceled into Super Arts, including EX special moves if enough power is available. This cancels the animation of the special move with the Super Art's animation, but reduces the damage of the canceled move. Some moves and EX versions cannot be super canceled, while others are only super cancelable.

The Stun Gauge:

Located below each character's lifebar, the Stun Gauge indicates how close a character is to being dizzied. Attacks fill the gauge with 'stun damage,' separate from life-decreasing damage. When the gauge maxes out, the character is dizzied and defenseless. Recovering from a dizzy involves shaking the controller and mashing buttons. Stun damage decreases over time, and the gauge resets upon recovery. The gauge size varies by character; Hugo's is large, while Gouki's is small.

Overheads and Leap Attacks:

An overhead attack must be blocked standing, even if it appears blockable low. Examples include most aerial attacks, Alex's standing HP, and Ibuki's Koube Kudaki. Overheads can be mixed with low attacks to force incorrect blocks. All overhead attacks are noted in character movelists as requiring a standing block.
