Big begins in his house in the Mystic Ruins, where his pet frog, Froggy, is taken by Chaos. Froggy swallows a Chaos Emerald and flees. Big follows Froggy to Station Square.

Walkthrough

    In Station Square, find Froggy under a car. Pick up the car (press B) and jump into the sewer.

    Follow the path behind you, enter the door, and continue down the hallway to reach stage one, Twinkle Park.

    To progress in the main game, head down the path to another door that leads back into town.

    A short cutscene (a non-interactive cinematic the game plays automatically) shows a crystal appearing behind the water near the elevator to Twinkle Park. Grab the crystal and take a train to the Mystic Ruins.

    Go to the cave near the train station with rocks around it and enter. Jump into the gusts of wind to reach another tunnel.

    After finding Froggy, a ball of light transports Big to the Emerald Shrine. He sees Tikal and the Master Emerald. Big is then transported back to the Egg Carrier.

    Jump on the yellow and green panel on the floor near the computer screen, then take the monorail up. Go to the large green platform at the top of the Egg Carrier.

    Eggman extracts a Chaos Emerald from Froggy and feeds it to Chaos. He reveals Froggy is possessed by its tail, and Froggy jumps into Chaos. Sonic appears and offers to help Big.

Hit the target on Chaos with your fishing pole to get Froggy out. This is the easiest boss battle in the game.

  1. After defeating Chaos 6, Big takes Froggy and runs to Tails' airplane. They borrow it to escape the Egg Carrier before it explodes.
  2. Back at the Mystic Ruins, Big and Froggy play together.
