Order Member

Learn how to defeat Order Members in Silent Hill: Townfall. Discover their weaknesses, attack patterns, and effective strategies using melee weapons and firearms.

Order Members are human enemies encountered in Silent Hill. They are identifiable by their mining outfits and masked faces. They wield either a steel pipe or an assault rifle and possess combat abilities similar to Alex's when he uses these weapons.

Weaknesses:

• Order Members are vulnerable to ranged attacks. Aiming for the head deals critical damage.
• The Shotgun is highly effective, often incapacitating them with a single shot. The Assault Rifle and Handgun are also effective.
• For melee combat, the Ceremonial Dagger is recommended due to its speed, allowing for quick combos like A, A, A, X.
• The Steel Pipe/Crowbar's A, A, X combo is also effective, as enemies often dodge the first swing but are hit by the subsequent ones.
• Against Order Members with pipes, the A, A, A, charge X combo is useful. They tend to stand still while the X attack charges, allowing for a hit and knockdown. Follow up with charged X stabs while they are downed.
• Order Members with pipes may dodge attacks from pipes or axes, but they struggle to dodge knife attacks. Even if they dodge a pipe or axe attack, they can often be hit mid-combo.
• Order Members with assault rifles are dangerous due to their close-range melee gun attacks that can interrupt Alex's actions. Use quick A, A, A, X combos with the dagger and avoid charging attacks when close to them.

Attacks:

• Pipe Combo: The Order Member performs a three-hit combo: left swing, right swing, and an overhead hit. This mirrors Alex's pipe combo. They may sometimes end the combo early.
• Dodge Timing: Dodge as soon as the Order Member holds the pipe to their side.

Finishers:

• Dazed State: This is a stunned state where the Order Member stands still.
• Ceremonial Dagger: Alex grabs the enemy from behind and performs a throat slice.
• Steel Pipe/Crowbar: Alex stabs the enemy in the chest with the pipe, then performs an upward swing to the head as they kneel.
• Fire Axe/Pulaski Axe: Alex drives the axe into the top of the enemy's head while they are kneeling, then kicks them off the axe.
