In the Operation Theatre, tap the A button to struggle out of the straps.

Familiarize yourself with the controls: left analog moves the character, right analog moves the camera, A interacts, RB opens the weapon menu, X turns on the flashlight, B cancels the menu.

Examine the DOCTOR'S MEMO to the left of the double doors before exiting.

Open the door leading out of the Operating Room and follow the blood trail.

In the Hallway Outside Operating Room, examine the MISSING PATIENT'S BULLETIN on the right bulletin board.

Enter the door next to the gate (the other door is locked) as you don't have the keypad combination yet.

In the Nurse Center, examine the middle x-ray on the board full of x-rays; note the numbers "624" scratched on the bottom.

Examine the ATTENTION STAFF note, then find and collect the ++MAP OF THE HOSPITAL++ on the bulletin board in the back.

Open the door to the left of the map.

In Hallway South of Nurse Center, enter Room 203.

In Room 203, examine the middle baby incubator and the burnt doll. Pick up the --HEALTH DRINK-- and examine the PAGE FROM AN INCIDENT REPORT.

Hop through the hole in the wall into Room 204.

In Room 204, examine the BASIC WEAPON COMBAT note to add the MANUAL to your journal.

Examine the x-ray on the flickering x-ray board on the south side and pick up the ++X-RAY FILM++.

Hop back through the opening in the wall, exit Room 203, and return to the Nurse Center.

In the Nurse Center, walk over to the x-ray board, pull up your inventory (LB), select the X-ray Film, and press A to place it on the board. The number sequence "624872" will appear on the x-rays and be added to your journal.

Exit the Nurse Center and return to the Hallway Outside of Operating Room.

Walk over to the keypad and enter the code: 624872.

Collect the --CHILD'S DRAWING (1/18)-- from the floor.

Open the door to the Male's Restroom.

In the Men's Restroom, open the first stall.

Open the door on the opposite end of the room.

In Storage, examine the !!SAVE POINT!! and save your game.

Open the door to the Women's Restroom.

In the Women's Restroom, check the stalls. Take the ++COMBAT KNIFE++ stuck in the mirror above the sinks. A cutscene (a non-interactive cinematic the game plays automatically) will play.
