Part 8

Shovel Knight Part 8 walkthrough covering the King Knight rematch, treasure hunt, and The Lich Yard level. Learn boss strategies and item locations.

Walkthrough:

1. Defeat King Knight. His Dash Attack can be countered by bouncing on his head multiple times. His Trumpet's Blow move, while dangerous with raining confetti, is the best opportunity to repeatedly bounce on his head.
2. After the fight, put out the campfire.
3. Head to the Plains of Passage to fight an enemy that has appeared on the map. This area contains slimes, dragons (watch for their divebomb attack), and skeletons. Avoid pits.
4. After the enemy fight, a gem may appear on King Knight's stage, indicating a treasure hunt. Enter this side-scrolling area to grab treasure quickly as the screen scrolls right. There are no enemies.
5. When presented with a choice of upper, middle, or lower paths, choose the middle path for gem deposits.
6. At the end of the treasure hunt, bounce off the bush to exit.
7. Head to the village and purchase the [_ORB OF CHAOS_] from the relic vendor. Buy one health upgrade and TWO magic upgrades if possible.
