Walkthrough
- 1Head to the fashion shop on the very left.
- 2Pay each person 1,000 Gems to help them with their purchases.
- 3The remaining person, Mr. Hat, will attack you.
- 4Boss Battle - Mr. Hat: Mr. Hat has two modes: Swordsman Hat and Gentleman Hat.
- 5In Swordsman Hat mode, he uses his rapier for slashes and throws red swords that stick in the ground. You can bounce off his head and hit the swords.
- 6In Gentleman Hat mode, he bounces around and throws tea plates and tea cups. You can jump through the plates.
- 7The Flare Wand relic is recommended for this fight due to its range, but be mindful of the swords stuck in the ground.
- 8After defeating Mr. Hat, you will receive 5,000 Gems.
- 9Head outside and talk to Mr. Hat on the sign for an additional 1,000 Gems.
- 10Go up into the airship and find Mr. Hat on the screen to the left. Talk to him again for another 1,000 Gems.
Tips
- The Stalwart Plate is your original armor and costs 0 Gold.
- The Final Guard costs 3,000 Gold and reduces the amount of gold dropped when you fall in battle.
- The Conjurer's Coat costs 4,000 Gold and increases your magic limit while allowing you to harvest magic from defeated foes.
- The Dynamo Mail costs 6,000 Gold and allows a powerful charge slash after two consecutive shovel drops.
- The Mail of Momentum costs 6,000 Gold and prevents you from being knocked back by enemies but makes stopping difficult.
- The Ornate Plate costs 8,000 Gold and is described as flashy, acrobatic, and useless.
- It is recommended not to buy anything from the armor shop until after the Mr. Hat fight.
- After the fight, consider buying all three shovel abilities and potentially armor like the Dynamo Mail.
- If you need more cash, you can sell your music sheets.
- You should receive the "Nice Hat..." feat. for helping out all the people in the shop.
