    After a dream sequence where you catch the falling Shield Knight, wake up and use your shovel to put out the campfire. This grants gems and the "Only You" feat.

    Enter the Village. A guard will let you pass as you have no weapon.

    Talk to the Bard; sell him your two music sheets for 1,000 Gold total.

    Head right to the market. Go down the stairs.

    To refill health/magic easily: on the first screen, jump to the far right ledge and hit the sign.
