Aerie

Aerie is a Cleric/Mage with STR 10, INT 16, WIS 16, DEX 17, CON 9, CHA 14, and LG alignment. She is proficient with Mace +, Quarterstaff +, and Sling +. She is considered frail and less effective as a dedicated healer or offensive caster compared to specialized party members later in the game. Her class combination also limits her front-line and ranged combat capabilities compared to characters like Imoen, Nalia, and Jan.

Recruitment

Aerie is found trapped as an ogre in the Circus Tent in Waukeen's Promenade. Freeing her from her curse allows you to recruit her.

Anomen Delryn

Anomen Delryn is a Fighter -> Cleric with STR 18/52, INT 10, WIS 12, DEX 10, CON 16, CHA 13, and LN alignment. He is proficient with War Hammer +, Spear ++, Mace ++, Quarterstaff +, Sling ++, and Sword and Shield Style ++. As a dual-class character, he has potential as an undead killer, though his Dexterity is low. His Wisdom is initially lacking for healing, but improves if he passes his test of knighthood, increasing to 16. Failing the test results in him becoming nihilistic. He competes for items like the Gauntlets of Dexterity. For builds past level 12, consider focusing on Flails for the Flail of Ages or mastering Maces.

Recruitment

Anomen can be found in the Copper Coronet and will join without hesitation.

Cernd

Cernd is a Shapeshifter with Level 10, HP 62, STR 13, INT 12, WIS 18, DEX 9, CON 13, CHA 15, and TN alignment. He is proficient with Scimitar +, Dagger +, Quarterstaff +, and Sling +. If acquired with enough experience to reach level 13, he unlocks the Greater Werewolf transformation, which has limited long-term usefulness. As a caster, his 18 Wisdom grants bonus spells, and he can use Barkskin and Iron Skins for defense, but he is generally outclassed by other companions like Jaheira, Anomen, or Viconia.

Recruitment

Cernd is held in protective custody in the cells under the Mayor's House in Trademeet. Logan Coprith will ask you to speak with him, and Cernd will offer to join your party to investigate the town's attacks.

Dorn

Dorn is a Blackguard with STR 19, INT 10, WIS 15, DEX 16, CON 14, CHA 16, and NE alignment. He is proficient with Two-Handed Sword++, Crossbow ++, and Two-Handed Weapon Style ++. He possesses useful immunities like Negative Plane Protection and immunity to Fear. However, his reliance on brute strength and two-handed weapons compromises his defense and HP. He is considered less effective than Korgan for an evil fighter role.

Recruitment

Dorn is found outside the High Hall of the Radiant Heart in the Temple District. Recruiting him may require dismissing other party members.

Edwin Odesseiron

Edwin Odesseiron is a Mage with STR 10, INT 18, WIS 10, DEX 10, CON 16, CHA 10, and LE alignment. He is proficient with Dagger + and Quarterstaff +. His specialization and Family Amulet allow him to cast more spells per day than characters like Imoen. His high Intelligence aids in spell learning and Lore. While his physical attributes are poor, his spellcasting ability is exceptional. He has a well-stocked spellbook but lacks Stoneskin. He does not have a missile weapon proficiency, so take Slings or Darts at level 12. The Boomerang Dagger can be used until then.

Recruitment

Edwin is located in Mae'Var's Guildhall in the Docks District. He will offer to join your group after you progress in the related quest.

Haer'Dalis

Haer'Dalis is a Blade with STR 17, INT 15, WIS 13, DEX 17, CON 9, CHA 16, and CN alignment. He is proficient with Short Sword++, Dagger +, Dart +, and Two-Weapon Style ++. He offers elemental and damage resistance.
