Alright, we're heading into the Mine Entrance area. Your main goal here is to push through the mines and find the way into the Factory. There's also a secondary objective to just make your way to the mine entrance itself, which we'll cover as we go. Keep an eye out, there are no secret areas in this particular section.

Walkthrough

    You'll start by following a corridor. Go through the door at the end of it, and you'll find yourself outside. Take out any Strogg you see here.

    To your right, you'll spot a Hyper Blaster. Straight ahead are the main Factory doors, but they're locked for now.

    Head to the right of the main Factory doors. Just before you enter a corridor, look to its right and down. You'll see a Power Shield on a ledge. Jump down to grab it.

    Now, head into that corridor you passed. On your left, you'll find a Flak Jacket. Grab it and keep moving.

    You'll enter a large room with a bunch of enemies. Clear them out!

    Once the room is clear, look up and to the left from where you entered. You'll see a yellow switch on the wall. Shoot it to make a set of stairs rise.

    Go up these stairs and take the grassy path on the left.

    Head left again, and you'll find a set of stairs on your left. Go down them.

    Continue through the corridor and go through the door at the end. This will lead you into the next level.
