LEF Locations:

  1. After retrieving the Sand Field on your right upon entering the room, look for a cracked wall on your right. Smash it to find LEF #9.

THE HOURGLASS (83%)

From the Save Point, head onto the platform with the hourglass. Your mission is to reach the top of the hourglass and salvage everything in the kingdom. From the platform, look for a ledge you can jump to. Run along the wall to reach another ledge, and continue running until you reach the final ledge, where debris blocks further progress. Instead, run along the window and jump across to a pole, then swing onto the hourglass.

After a cutscene (a non-interactive cinematic the game plays automatically) (an in-game cinematic), Prince has doubts about plunging the dagger into the hourglass. The evil vizier appears and attacks with a sandstorm. Prince lets go of the dagger to save Farah but grabs it back before being blown into a tomb. Farah mentions something called "kakulupia," which opens a door. Farah is gone, and you must find her.

The tomb resembles the path to the LEF. Follow the passage downwards in a spiral. At the end, enter the doorway to a bath-like area. Prince shouts for Farah, and you need to reach the next level. The paths magically lead back to the entrance, and only one path is correct. Here are the step-by-step instructions, with all coordinates starting from the Landscape View (viewed clockwise from the entrance):

  1. From the entrance, go into the path directly behind the statue – the 4th door from the entrance, clockwise.
  2. You will exit at the 2nd path. Go to the 7th path from the entrance – the last path.
  3. You will exit at the 5th path. From there, head to the 3rd path from the entrance.
  4. You will exit at the 6th path. Take the 1st path from the entrance to proceed to the next floor.
  5. On the upper floor, take the 4th path from the entrance.
  6. You should exit at the 7th path. Take the 9th path – the last path from the entrance.
  7. You will exit at the 1st path. Take the 5th path to exit the infinite rooms.

NOTE: Before entering the correct path, a splashing sound will occur, indicating the correct path.

Another cutscene ensues where Farah bathes and invites Prince to join her. After the cutscene, Prince wakes up to find Farah's pendant on the ground, and both his sword and dagger are gone. Run away from fights and enter a room with a sword on a glowing Save Point-like object. A ray of light corresponds to a symbol on the altar where the sword is placed. Shine the light onto the symbol to deactivate the field and retrieve the sword. Trying to grab the sword while the field is active will cause you to lose life.

To shut down the field, enter Landscape View. Use the mirrors to direct the beam of light onto the symbol.

  1. Move the RMirror (Right Mirror) of the entrance to intersect the light from the DMirror (Default Mirror) on the left. Do not move the DMirror.
  2. Adjust the light from the RMirror so it hits Pillar1 and shines towards Pillar2, which will reflect the beam upwards.
  3. Move the LMirror (Left Mirror) to catch the light from Pillar2 and shine it to the left.
  4. Use the FMirror (Final Mirror) that you haven't moved yet.
