Navigating The Palace's Defense System:
- Walk upstairs and carefully pass the spikes and spiked poles by walking slowly (hold the Left Analog halfway). Instant death occurs if hit.
- In the next room, pull the lever to activate traps and open the gate. Be quick to avoid restarting.
- Pass the 4 spiked poles, turn left, run along the right wall, and pull yourself up.
- At the end of the ledge, jump to the left wall, avoiding the saw by hanging, not walking.
- Jump off the ledge to the next passage of traps.
- Run along the left wall to grab a ledge.
- Walk along the ledge and jump across to the right ledge.
- Jump back to the left ledge, bypassing the saw, to reach the gate.
- Enter the palace courtyards and destroy all sand creatures.
- Locate and use the Save Point.
Navigating A Booby-Trapped Courtyard:
- From the Save Point, walk straight to a wall-mounted switch. A fountain is to the right, and a Sand Field is left of the switch.
- Run up the wall to activate the switch. A square platform rises.
- Climb up and grab the pole, swinging forward to a ledge.
- Run and jump across the gap to the next ledge.
- An evil-looking blade starts spinning. Either run across the wall on the left or roll underneath it (rolling is safer).
- At the end of the ledge, jump to the platform.
- Climb up; 4 spiked poles appear, followed by another spinning slicer.
- Get past the slicer by rolling. Activate the lever above the switch.
- Jump to hang on to the lever and swing past the gate.
- In the next area, climb up the rocks on your left to reach a ladder in a room riddled with spikes.
- Run along the left wall and jump to the ladder. Switch sides and climb up.
- Jump to the other platform, then head right to another platform.
- Grab the Sand Field and climb the wall into the hole to obtain another LEF.
- Run along the right walls to reach poles and swing to a small ledge.
- Hang on to the ledge and climb to the right corner.
- Jump over to the next platform.
- Time your run to get past a saw and climb up the ledge in front.
- Walk right, jump to a pole, and swing up to the floor with the door.
- Run along the left wall and time your run to stop at the next platform.
- Time your run again to get past a saw and jump to the platform on the right.
- Open the gate via the switch on the platform to the right. Be mindful of the saw; time your run, get to the other platform, jump on the switch, climb down, and run back before the gate closes.
- You are back in the palace. Pull the lever to open the gate and activate traps.
- Run along the walls to get past ledges and saws.
- Roll past the circular slicer.
- Run up the wall on the left to activate a ledge, and climb up both ledges.
- Keep climbing and jump to the left.
- Climb up again and walk to the left corner of the ledge to jump to the other side.
Tips
- When navigating areas with spikes and saws, observe their patterns carefully and time your movements precisely.
- Rolling is often a safer method than running to bypass spinning blades.
- Be quick when activating gates after pulling levers, as they may close rapidly.
- Conserve health by avoiding unnecessary risks; instant death traps are common.
