    Before entering the Trainers' School, find a Potion to the right of the main entrance by a palm tree.

    Head north along the side of the building to find Young Athlete Hiromi. Battle her (Bonsly Lv. 7, Rock type). She rewards $196.

    Enter the school. Go north, then west. Speak to the adult to receive a Quick Claw.

    Enter the green door to the west. Speak to the child to the left of the teacher's desk to battle Preschooler Mia (Metapod Lv. 7, Bug type). She rewards $84 and gives you 3 Oran Berrys.

    Exit the school via the side entrance on the left. Go up to the gate and head through.

    Go south through the tall grass to find an Antidote, then continue south for a Paralyze Heal.

    Battle Youngster Joey (Grimer Lv. 7, Poison/Dark type). He rewards $140.

    Backtrack to the gate and head out of this area. Go south to the dirt courts and speak to the boy on the right to battle Rising Star Joseph (Ekans Lv. 8, Poison type). He rewards $384 and TM01 - Work Up.

    Return to the school and go north to pick up a Potion.

    Head inside the school and go up the stairs to battle Teacher Emily. Her Pokémon depends on your starter:
    • If Rowlet: Litten Lv. 10 (Fire)

    If Litten: Popplio Lv. 10 (Water)

    If Popplio: Rowlet Lv. 10 (Grass/Flying)

    After the battle, Captain Ilima introduces himself. Interact with the Tauros to address it.

  • If your party gets weak, head to the Pokémon Center to heal.
