Tips
  • HM05 (Flash) can be used in the field to light up caverns like Dark Cave once you have the appropriate Badge. It has limited use in battles. Consider teaching it to a random Bellsprout.
  • The Onix traded for a Bellsprout can evolve into Steelix if you can trade with others.
  • Falkner's Pokémon are Pidgey (Lv. 7) and Pidgeotto (Lv. 9), both Normal/Flying type.
  • Geodude with Rock Throw (Level 11+) or Onix with Rock Throw (Level 14+) can deal super-effective damage and resist Falkner's attacks.
  • If Pidgey uses Sand Attack multiple times, switching Pokémon can help avoid missing attacks.
  • TM31 (Mud-Slap) can lower an opponent's Accuracy by one stage if it hits. It can be useful against Rock- and Steel-type Pokémon.

Zephyr Badge Functions:

  • Allows the use of Flash out of battle.
  • Boosts Flying-type moves' damage by 12.5%.
  • Boosts Attack by 12.5%.
