Goldenrod City Gym - Leader Whitney
Whitney's Pokémon party consists of Clefairy (Lv. 18) and Miltank (Lv. 20).
- Clefairy (Lv. 18, Normal): Moves include Doubleslap, Mimic, Encore, Metronome. It can be annoying but is generally not a major threat. Use Rock or Fighting-type Pokémon.
- Miltank (Lv. 20, Normal): Moves include Rollout, Attract, Stomp, Milk Drink. Miltank's Rollout can be devastating, Attract can cause infatuation, and Milk Drink heals it. Use strong STAB moves. A Pokémon of the opposite gender of Miltank can help mitigate Attract's effects.
Tips
- Recommended levels for this Gym are 19+.
- Consider using a Rock-type or Fighting-type Pokémon against Whitney's Normal-type Pokémon.
- Be prepared for Miltank's healing and status-inflicting moves.
- Defeating Whitney earns you $2000 and the Plain Badge, which allows the use of Cut outside of battle and makes Pokémon up to Level 30 obey you.
- You also receive TM45 (Attract).
