Walkthrough
- 1From Vermilion City, head north to Route 6.
- 2Follow Route 6 north into Saffron City.
- 3In Saffron City:
- Find a Focus Band in the northern part of the city, in the building labeled "Gym" that is actually the Fighting Dojo.
- 4The Poké Mart is in the northeastern section.
- 5Obtain an Up-Grade from a man in the northeast corner of the Silph Co. building.
- 6The Pokémon Center is in the southwestern part of the city.
- 7Receive TM29 (Psychic) from a man in a house in the southeast.
- 8Enter the eastern "Gym" building in the far northeast to challenge the Saffron City Gym Leader.
- 9Saffron City Gym: Navigate the teleporter puzzle. The two main routes are:
- Minimum Trainers: Entrance room teleporter, northwest, southwest, southwest.
- 10All Trainers: Entrance room teleporter, southwest, northwest, southwest, southwest.
- 11Reach the center room and battle Leader Sabrina.
Leader Sabrina's Pokémon:
- Espeon Lv. 46 (Psychic)
- Mr. Mime Lv. 46 (Psychic)
- Alakazam Lv. 48 (Psychic)
Recommended Levels: Level 54+
Strategy: Sabrina specializes in Psychic-type Pokémon. Dark-type Pokémon have a significant advantage as they are immune to most of her Pokémon's attacks. Ghost and Bug types also perform well. Any strong Pokémon with good STAB (Same Type Attack Bonus) moves can be effective.
