Walkthrough

    Make your way to the palace in Al Mamoon and talk to the Caliph to receive the [HOLY WOOD].

    Travel to Ding Dong Dell and go to the palace entrance. Your Holy Wood will disappear.

    Head back to the first area of town and visit the Cawtermaster. He bought the wood from a mouse and requires proof it's yours.

    Go outside and head east of Swift Solutions to find a spiral stairway. Go up to find the mouse on the railing.

    Talk to the mouse. Oliver realizes the mouse reminds him of Phil and decides to check on him.

    Rest at the Cat’s Cradle to max HP and MP.

    Cast ‘Gateway’ to return to Motorville.

    Save your game and go to Oliver’s house to find Phil.

    Prepare for the boss fight: Philip's Nightmare - Void of Ambition.

    After the battle, use Take Heart on yourself to help bring Phil back.

    Show him the carved wood. Marcassin and Swaine will finish it, giving you [THE CLARION] and [THE NINTH TALE] of Wonder.

    Use the magic circle outside the palace to talk to Abyssinia using ‘Spirit Medium’. She will give you a [GUSTPLUME].

    You are now ready to head to the Miasma Marshes, but first, visit The Deep Dark Wood.

    Speak to Old Father Oak in The Deep Dark Wood to tell him of your adventure.

    Use ‘Travel’ to visit Perdida. Proceed north past Khulan to a dark valley near the miasma.
