    Follow the path, using the Waystone to save and recover HP/MP.

    Jump across river stones to find a chest with [CHOCOLATE].

    At a fork, ignore the southwest path (sealed chest). Jump across rocks to the southeast.

    Receive a tutorial on assigning new tricks to familiars.

    Continue down the path and find a chest to the left/southwest containing [WHITE BREAD].

    Return to the fork and head southeast.

    At a tree stump, open a chest at its base for a bottle of [ICED COFFEE].

Boss Fight: Guardian of the Woods

Strategy:

  • It is recommended to fight as Oliver, using his Fireball spell for faster damage.
  • Spam the Fireball spell by selecting Spells, then Fireball.
  • If MP runs low, collect blue glims on the battlefield, but stay away from the Guardian.
  • When the Guardian prepares for Windfall, you will be warned to Defend. Defend against this attack twice.
  • After defending twice, you will have a Chance to do major damage. Cancel your defense (CIRCLE button) and quickly hit the Guardian with another Fireball.
  • The Guardian also uses Bellow, which stuns you. Defend against the subsequent Windfall attack to avoid the stun.
  • If Oliver's HP drops below 20, use Healing Touch to recover or use White Bread.
  • If you run out of MP, Iced Coffee can help, though it's usually not necessary.
  • As the battle ends, a 'gold glim' will appear. Grab it to restore all HP and enable a Miracle Move that doesn't use MP. Use this move to finish the battle.
