Explore Castaway Cove in Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch. Find items, complete errands, and learn about alchemy with our comprehensive walkthrough.

After defeating Al-Khemi, you gain access to Alchemy with the [CAULDRON]. You also receive [PIXIE DEW], [SOUR GRAPES], and [SLUMBERNOT LEAVES x3]. Combining these in the Alchemy tutorial creates [SPRITE DEW], a healing item restoring 200 HP to all party members. You will also obtain the [SPRITE DEW FORMULA (006)].

Visit the lady with the red turban on the westernmost pier to receive numerous recipes: [SANDWICH FORMULA (003), [FISHBURGER FORMULA (002)], [STRONG COFFEE FORMULA (007)], [CAPPUCCINO FORMULA (008)], [MILK CHOCOLATE FORMULA (013)], [CREAMY FLAN FORMULA (018)], [CARROT CAKE FORMULA (023)], [SOUR SUNDAE FORMULA (028)], [SWEETIE PIE FORMULA (033)] & [SALTED ICE CREAM (038)].

Explore Castaway Cove for chests and pots. From the entrance, head northeast over the bridge to find [SWEETIE PIE] and [20 - 40 G]. Eastward, a glimmering pot contains a [CAKE or CHOCOLATE or FLAN].

Cross the bridge south and speak with Horace. Use 'Spirit Medium' on him, then translate a Nazcaän phrase from your Wizard's Companion (page 13, wizard's robe symbols). Using the Nazcaän Alphabet, the phrase translates to 'Finest Fiber'. Horace rewards you with the [VACATE] spell for dungeon teleportation.

On the docks, find a chest on the right at the bottom of the stairs containing a [SANDWICH]. A blue chest on the first northern pier holds a [FISHBURGER].

Activate all errands at Swift Solutions in the northwestern part of town. Talk to Sindbah, who will send you to Al Mamoon to get permission from Cowlipha to ride the ship.

Errand #006 - The Fisherman's Woe

Description: A Castaway Cove fisherman is afraid of the sea and refuses to fish.

Goal: Restore his courage.

Errand #049 - A Snazzier Swimsuit

Description: A Castaway Cove designer needs three rainbow leaves.

Goal: Defeat florets using Frostbite to gather rainbow leaves.

Errand #076 - The Young Alchemist

Description: A young girl in Castaway Cove wants you to create a candle cutter.

Goal: Create a candle cutter and show it to the girl.

Stamps: 3

To complete Errand #076, you need a Flint Dagger (buy from Cawtermaster in Al Mamoon) and an Emberstone. Emberstones are dropped by Mohawk enemies found on Teeheeti island (steal or wait for drops). Craft the candle cutter and return it to the girl for your reward.
