Alright, you've made it to the Glittering Grotto, and it's time to face off against a pretty tough boss: Cerboreas. Don't worry, I'll walk you through it!

Stats / Weaknesses:

• Cerboreas is weak to Fire and Ice attacks. Make sure your familiars are equipped with spells that exploit these elements.
• It has a high defense, so focus on dealing consistent damage rather than trying to land one massive hit.

Phases:

1. Phase 1: Ground Assault
   Cerboreas will primarily attack with its claws and tail sweeps. It can also summon smaller ice shards that home in on you. Dodge these attacks by moving to the side or using your defensive abilities.
2. Phase 2: Ice Breath Barrage
   When its health drops to about 70%, Cerboreas will start using its ice breath attack. This is a wide cone that can freeze you if you're caught in it. The best strategy here is to get behind it or use a fast-moving familiar to dart in and out of range.
3. Phase 3: Desperation
   At around 30% health, Cerboreas becomes more aggressive. It will combine its claw attacks with more frequent ice breath. It might also gain a new move where it slams the ground, creating an icy shockwave. Keep your guard up and focus on dodging.

Strategy:

• Elemental Advantage: As mentioned, Fire and Ice are your best friends here. Use your most powerful spells of these types. If you have familiars that can cast both, even better!
• Defense is Key: This fight can be a war of attrition. Don't get greedy with your attacks. Focus on dodging and defending when necessary. Use the 'Defend' command if you're unsure about an incoming attack.
• Familiar Swapping: Don't be afraid to swap out your familiars. If one is low on health or MP, bring in a fresh one. This also allows you to switch up your elemental damage output if needed.
• Target Weak Points: While not explicitly stated as weak points, focusing attacks on its head or legs can sometimes stagger it, giving you a brief window for extra damage.
• Heal Up: Keep an eye on your party's HP. Use healing spells or items proactively. It's better to heal a little too early than to get wiped out because you waited too long.
