Start your journey in My Time at Sandrock! Learn how to customize your character, find your first workshop, and meet key NPCs like Yan and Mi-an.

Alright, builder! Welcome to Sandrock! Before you even get your hands dirty, the game’s gonna have you create your very own character. Don't rush this part – you can tweak your hair, eyes, face shape, and even use a color wheel to get those perfect shades. Make them look exactly how you want!

Once you're happy with your look, you'll arrive in Sandrock and meet a few important folks: Yan, the head of the Commerce Guild; Mi-an, another builder just like you; and Mason, the builder you're taking over for. After a quick intro, Mi-an will show you to your new home base – your workshop! It's Mason's old place, so it's a bit rough around the edges, but hey, you've got some starting materials and a worktable ready to go. After chatting with Mi-an a bit more, you'll get your next main quest, called The New Builder. Get ready to get to work!
