Walkthrough
- 1Players start as a new arrival in Los Angeles, choosing from three starter cars: a 1998 Nissan 240SX, a 1983 Volkswagen Golf GTI, or a 1988 Volkswagen Scirocco.
- 2Build reputation to become the City Champ. The first challenge is to race against regional opponents to eventually face Booke, the current City Champ.
- 3After defeating Booke in the City Champ race, other championship races unlock. Players will then face the Champs of all five vehicle classes: Oswaldo, Julian, Lester, Pete, and Marcel.
- 4Following the City Champ victory, Booke proposes a business venture: co-owning his garages for $1 million, granting the player free access to vehicles in his garages. This also impacts Doc's South Central garage.
