Complete Mass Effect 2 Base Camp walkthrough including items like Disassembled Geth Rifle and rewards of 1000 xp, 30,000 Credits.
Walkthrough
- 1After getting the door open, you'll face a large contingent of Geth Recon Drones and a Geth Prime. Drones explode after an Overload (a biotic or tech power) or a few shots.
- 2The Geth Prime is tough, but you have plenty of space to lure it around.
- 3This is followed by another barrage of drones.
- 4As you move north along the east side, you'll face another combination of drones and a Geth Prime. Stay in cover (press the cover button to crouch behind walls or objects) (a defensive position that blocks enemy fire) and slowly work on Overloading the Drones, then focus on the Prime.
- 5Even more drones appear after you take down this Prime.
- 6Continue north to the final area with a Geth Colossus.
- 7Move down to Kal. You can choose to stop him from helping with a Paragon interrupt (a dialogue option that favors good choices).
- 8Kal lays out the possible paths of attack.
- 9Recommended paths are left or right. After clearing the Geth Troopers in the central area, head up to your chosen path.
- 10Take cover and clear the bridge, then move up again when it's clear.
- 11Loads of Geth will come pouring from the building behind the Colossus.
- 12When you've killed the Colossus and any leftover Geth, the door will open.

Tips
- The Geth Recon Drones have little defense and explode quickly.
- The Geth Prime is tough, but you have plenty of space to maneuver.
- The Geth Colossus can't be taken out from range as it ducks down and repairs itself after taking damage.
- On harder difficulties, the Colossus has a lot of health and repairs itself quickly, regaining shields at 50% damage.
- The Colossus fires only one shot every few seconds, but it can take up to half your health or shields.
- Even if Kal is helping, he should survive.
