Walkthrough
  1. 1
Head through the initial area, being mindful of enemies to the southeast. Watch out for charging Husks and potentially troublesome Collectors in the confined space. You will encounter your first Scion, a slow, armored enemy that fires shockwaves. Prioritize eliminating Husks due to their dangerous melee attacks. On higher difficulties, Husks have minimal Armor. Use the safe area to the north if you need more space. After the first wave, collect any items, including an upgrade, and proceed through the door to the next area.
  2. 2
Upon entering, you will face a swarm of Husks from the north and east, along with Scions from the east. Deal with the Husks first. Retreat south if they become overwhelming. If your squad is struggling, sprint and use abilities or a slowdown effect, as Scions' shockwaves can still hit you while moving. Once the Husks are cleared, focus on the Scions, utilizing effective anti-Armor weaponry. There is a Power Cell on the south side, but conserve ammo for the Praetorian. If you are dying frequently, be less cautious. Hacking the computer initiates the next phase.
  3. 3
Collectors will arrive from the southeast, consisting of Drones, Guardians, and Assassins, along with more Husks. Drones will continuously spawn as you defeat them, transforming into Harbingers. After defeating approximately six to seven Collectors, you will have a brief respite to pick up ammo.
  4. 4
Thirty seconds later, more Husks will emerge from the northern units, and Collectors from the northwest. Use the transmitter for cover and proceed cautiously. Collectors tend to stay at a distance, allowing you to recover health behind cover.
  5. 5
Your position will automatically shift west. You will face the Praetorian, a flying enemy with a powerful laser-eye attack and significant Armor. Its laser beams originate from its middle, allowing you to shoot around cover. The Praetorian focuses on you and closes in quickly; maintain distance to avoid its damaging melee attack and ground stomp. Use all Heavy weapons against it. If you run out of ammo, employ a hit-and-run strategy, circling the arena. The Praetorian pauses briefly between laser attacks, providing an opportunity to shoot and sprint to new cover. On higher difficulties, it will deploy a barrier every 25% of its health.
  6. 6
After returning to the Normandy, you will receive an update from the Illusive Man and three new dossiers. You can now initiate loyalty missions for your squadmates, specifically Miranda and Jacob's. You can also Retrain Powers at the research terminal for 2,500 eezo. Since their loyalty skills are not particularly impactful, it is recommended to continue recruiting. Each subsequent mission completed will unlock another loyalty mission.
