Complete the Mass Effect 2 Project Firewalker: Survey Sites Located mission by finding five artifacts and defeating Geth enemies using the Hammerhead vehicle.
Walkthrough
- 1Head to the Hawking ETA, Verr system. Upon landing, you will encounter Geth enemies. Use the Hammerhead's missiles, which home in on targets, by aiming so there is a curved path to the enemy rather than directly at them.
- 2Proceed linearly through the area, engaging Geth forces. Avoid landing or entering deep water, as the Hammerhead will explode if submerged too deeply.
- 3The first artifact is guarded by a Geth Colossus. Hide on the lower level and fire missiles slightly upwards to defeat it.
- 4After dispatching the first artifact's guardian, follow the ground towards the second artifact, engaging any remaining Geth.
- 5Near the second artifact, another Geth Colossus and some Destroyers will appear. Engage them from a distance, using Jump-Shots to adjust firing angles if necessary.
- 6Examine the second artifact, then head left up a ramp and into a structure.
- 7Inside the structure, a third Geth Colossus and more Geth will appear. Defeat the Colossus from range, maneuvering to get clear shots at the smaller Geth. Examine the third artifact.
- 8The fourth artifact is located above. Jump up on the left side to reach it. You may need to get closer than their initial spawn points to hit the Geth that appear near this artifact.
- 9Near the fourth artifact, up a ramp, you can find a platinum storage to mine. Be aware of three rocket drones that will attack on the way.
- 10Jump a few times to reach the final artifact. This location is defended by two Geth Colossi, a Prime, and a Destroyer. Maneuver left and right to avoid incoming fire while engaging them. You can survive approximately two shots from a Colossus before your Hammerhead explodes.
- 11To the right of the final artifact, there is an additional platinum storage you can access if desired.
Tips
- The Hammerhead's missiles curve towards targets; aim slightly above or to the side of enemies for optimal trajectory.
- Do not drive the Hammerhead into deep water, as it will explode.
- When fighting Geth Colossi, use elevated positions or cover (press the cover button to crouch behind walls or objects) to gain an advantage.
- A simple left-right strafing motion can help you avoid incoming fire from multiple heavy enemies.
