Notes on Ruby Heart's Moves:

  • The Gamma Assist provides an orb that temporarily increases your attack damage. Only you can pick it up.
  • Ruby Heart's Beta Variable Counter with HP Cheval Seller is not controllable, unlike most Variable Counters.
  • Ruby Heart's standing HK launches airborne opponents, making it useful after a crouching MP or close Supr?mation.
  • Fant?me does minimal damage but clings to the opponent, draining their Hyper Combo gauge. It disappears after a while, if you get hit, or if you use Milles Fant?mes (which deals physical damage and doesn't drain the HC gauge). This move persists onscreen even if you switch characters.
  • The LP version of Rafale Canon results in Ruby attacking if the thrown anchor hits. The HP version traps the opponent in the anchor's chain, leaving them vulnerable.
  • For maximum hits with Flan Mer, aim for a horizontal, up, diagonally up-forward, up, diagonally up-forward or up-back trajectory.
  • Tour de Magie is a Level 1 Hyper Combo and is blockable. Ruby Heart drops a barrel on the opponent. You can then use LP or LK to throw knives into eight slots on the barrel. Hitting the wrong hole causes an explosion and knocks the opponent away. Filling four holes ends the move. If used on an airborne opponent, they are launched upwards instead of being trapped in the barrel.
