Follow Damarose's questline in Lords of the Fallen (2023), from Pilgrim's Perch to Bramis Castle, and learn how cleansing beacons affects her role and potential boss fight.
Damarose can first be found inside the Pilgrim’s Perch Sanctuary, near the first boss in Lords of the Fallen (2023). Speak with her, and after progressing through Pilgrim’s Perch to the bottom of the bell vestige, you can find another elevator leading into a cave. Near the Mistress of Hounds Sin Piercer archer boss, you can buy Inferno spells, weapons, and items from her if you spoke to her previously. She will disappear on the next game reload or teleport. This is where you can obtain Adyr’s Rage, an Inferno spell that increases Physical Damage.
Damarose will then disappear and reappear later in the game, with her location dependent on your decision regarding the first beacon. Cleansing a beacon locks you into the Radiance storyline. If you do not cleanse the first beacon, your ending choices remain open.
Damarose's Questline If You Cleanse A Beacon:
If you cleanse the first beacon, Damarose will not appear again until the ending chapter, near the start of Bramis Castle, when you prepare to cleanse the final beacon. She becomes a boss you must fight to gain entry into the castle grounds, as she protects her lord, Adyr. Defeating her awards her cleaver as a weapon, Damarose's Cleaver, which is effective for Inferno builds.
Damarose's Questline In The Inferno Ending:
If you choose not to cleanse the first beacon, Damarose can appear in other scripted locations. After defeating the Ruiner boss on the bridge exiting the cave in Fitzroy’s Gorge, you can enter the Umbral. Follow a pathway beyond the hoisted ladder to find a shrine. This shrine allows you to cash in Charred Fingers for PvP rewards and find Damarose. She will ask for the Adyr-Worshipper Saw, located in the Cistern.
Damarose does not appear again until the end of the game. When you enter Bramis Castle and reach the final beacon boss, the Sundered King, you will find Damarose's body used as the Effigy of Adyr. To achieve the Inferno ending, you must use your Rune of Adyr (obtained from the Abbey of Hallowed Sisters) to martyr Damarose and ascend to become one of Adyr’s Lords, unlocking the Lord Starting Class.
