Create a powerful Umbral build in Lords of the Fallen (2023) using Crushing Gaze, Lord Berescu's Catalyst, and a balanced stat spread.

Starting Class Recommendations:

• Putrid Child Class: Unlocked after finishing the game with the Umbral Ending; specifically designed for Umbral builds.
• Condemned Class: Recommended for min/maxing.
• Orian Preacher or Pyric Cultist: Choose one and level up the other stat (Radiance or Inferno) to match its starting value (e.g., if Orian Preacher starts with 18 Radiance, level Inferno to 18).

Umbral Magic Build Attributes:

Attribute leveling depends on your playstyle:

• Spell-focused: Prioritize Radiance and Inferno.
• Melee/Magic Hybrid: Invest in Vitality, Endurance, and either Strength or Agility (depending on desired weapon type) alongside Radiance and Inferno.

Level Cap and Attribute Caps:

• A community-set level cap of 100 is suggested for balance.
• Radiance & Inferno: Soft Cap at 50, Hard Cap at 70.
• Vitality & Endurance: Soft Cap at 20, Hard Cap at 40, with 60 being the hard cap.

Recommended Weapon:

• Crushing Gaze (Grand Hammer): Hits hard with 853 Attack Power at max upgrade (+10) and scales with an 'A' in both Radiance and Inferno. Requires points in Strength.
• Alternative Weapons: Putrid Child Sword, Rosamund’s Sword, Veil Piercer, Nohuta Polearm (scale well with Radiance/Inferno, but not as high as Crushing Gaze).

• Crushing Gaze: Found in Calrath. Enter the area with the Enchantress, find a gap in the fence, switch to the Umbral Realm, follow the path left across the archway, drop down, and Soul Flay the Umbral Belly.
• Pale Eye Shield: Found in Pilgrim’s Perch. From the Vestige of Chabui, go down stairs outside, turn left up stairs, then right and drop onto a beam. Enter the Umbral Realm, follow the beam to a large hand, and Soul Flay the Umbral Belly.
• Lord Berescu’s Catalyst: Found in Revelation Depths. Located in a small encampment behind a breakable barricade, past the bridge shortcut and before the main boss. Soul Flay the Umbral Belly within the encampment.
• Cursed Armor Set: Found in Manse of the Hallowed Brothers. From Ferrer’s the Charred Vestige, enter the main compound via ledges on the left.
