Angel’s Axe
The Angel’s Axe is a Grand Axe with a high starting strength requirement and decent base scaling (C-). To acquire it, travel to the Forsaken Fen and find the Vestige attended by Byron. Cross the bridge, proceed through the zombie-infested land and a water-logged area. Turn left towards a village entrance, then left again into a deeper flooded space. Enter the Umbral to bypass it and find the weapon via a Soul Flay interaction. Beware of the moth lady.
Anvil Hammer
The Anvil Hammer requires some cheesing to obtain early. It is unlocked by looting an item pick-up in the Path of Devotion, a mid to late-game area. If you grind 9500 vigor for the Pilgrim’s Perch key, you can access the Belled Rise area of Pilgrim’s Perch, behind the locked door next to the Bellcave Vestige. Navigate Belled Rise, avoiding enemies, to reach an outside area. Enter the Umbral, go left into a cave, follow the tunnel past a knight and his dog, then turn right through passageways to an opening with a dirt path. Go left to find a Vestige. After resting, run down the path towards a hill with guards; the item is a pickup there. Without cheesing, this weapon is obtainable about two-thirds through the game. It is worth considering for Grand Hammer builds to upgrade and use early.
Bloodlust
Bloodlust is a unique short sword with bleed and burn damage modifiers. It offers strength, inferno, and agility scalings, plus health restoration on kill, providing good sustain for early-game builds with low Vitality. To get Bloodlust, defeat the Crimson Rector Paladin boss in Fitzroy’s Gorge (the third main area, accessible after Pilgrim’s Perch and Forsaken Fen). After beating the Forsaken Fen beacon boss, proceed into Fitzroy’s Gorge, go up the hill, and take the left path towards a fort. The boss is inside the fort, and the chest containing Bloodlust is further towards the back.
Bloody Glory
The Bloody Glory is a highly regarded great sword-type weapon with a barbed effect that deals significant bleeding damage, making it one of the top three Great Swords. To get it early, you can use the same cheese method as the Anvil Hammer: buy the Pilgrim’s Perch key for 9500 Vigor, run through Belled Rise, and follow the path before the Vestige in the Path of Devotion to find the weapon in a small room guarded by a knight and two dogs. If you don't cheese it, the weapon will be available in this area typically after the Fief of Winter Curse. Its power remains consistent throughout the game.
