The Pyric Cultist is an advanced class in Lords of the Fallen (2023) focused on fire magic. While considered a glass cannon, it's a strong choice for magic builds, requiring careful mana management and spellcasting.

The high Inferno stat boosts spell power, fire damage, and mana capacity. Endurance (11) allows for spellcasting and dodging, but low Strength, Agility, and Vitality necessitate careful positioning.

Status Mage Build

To unlock pure mage capabilities, level both Radiance and Inferno stats. This allows access to Wither spells from Molhu in the Umbral realm (requiring 12 of each magic stat and an Umbral Catalyst). The Umbral Orb spell (8/8 stats) and Lingering Despair (15/15 stats) are early options. The Pale Eye Shield, found in Pilgrim's Perch near the Sanctuary Vestige, offers defensive utility for this build.

In the Fen, find the house at the back of the second village for the Putrification spell, which creates a poison pool. Combining this with the Bloodbane Ring (found near the Vestige of the Pale Butcher) and the Pendant of Burden (near a bonfire and ladder in the same area) can inflict bleed and poison, significantly boosting damage against mobs and some bosses.

Battlemage Build

For a Spell Blade or Battle Mage playstyle, acquire the Adyr's Rage spell from a vendor before the Mistress of Hounds vendor in the Bellcave. This spell (requiring 22 Inferno) grants bonus physical damage to attacks. Pair this with a Strength or Strength/Inferno weapon, apply Fire Salts, and leverage your Inferno stat to enhance weapon damage.
