This guide details the locations of all Radiant Catalysts in Lords of the Fallen (2023). Radiant Catalysts are essential for casting Radiance magic.

The first Radiant Catalyst can be purchased from Exacter Dunmire, found in the Skyrest Hub shortly after defeating the boss on the bridge leading to it. Initially, he is located in front of the Vestige, but he moves down the ramp to the left after you speak with him.

Every Radiant Catalyst Location

• Orian Preacher Catalyst — Start as the Orian Preacher Class or purchase from Exacter Dunmire in Skyrest. Spell Power: 100, Min. Scaling: C-, Max. Scaling: A-, Spell Slots: 3.
• Agony’s Light — Low drop-rate loot from Ardent Penitents (Spiked Helmet Enemy) predominantly found in Pilgrim’s Perch. Spell Power: 135, Min. Scaling: D, Max. Scaling: C, Spell Slots: 3.
• Wilmarc’s Catalyst — Found behind the Petrified Woman in Forsaken Fogfen (through shortcut door next to Valade, to the left). Spell Power: 100, Min. Scaling: C+, Max. Scaling: A, Spell Slots: 4.
• Abbess Chalice — Defeat the boss in the Abbey of the Hallowed Sisters. Spell Power: 94, Min. Scaling: B-, Max. Scaling: A+, Spell Slots: 5.
• Exacter Scripture — Found in Upper Calrath. Spell Power: 93, Min. Scaling: C-, Max. Scaling: S, Spell Slots: 5.
• Radiant Purifier Catalyst — Looted at the bottom of the Tower of Penance near the shrine lit by candles. Spell Power: 135, Min. Scaling: C-, Max. Scaling: C+, Spell Slots: 3.

Best Radiant Catalyst in Lords of the Fallen

The best Radiant Catalyst depends on your build and investment in the Radiance stat:

• For side Radiance use or no upgrades: Agony’s Light or Radiant Purifier Catalyst (high Spell Power at +10, but lower scaling).
• For pure casters or heavy Radiance investment: Wilmarc’s Catalyst, Abbess Chalice, or Orian Preacher Catalyst (good scaling up to A-).
• For very high Radiance (40/50+): Exacter Scripture (only one that reaches S rank scaling).

Note that Agony’s Light and Radiant Purifier Catalyst have a Spell Power of 380 at +10, Wilmarc’s Catalyst and Abbess Chalice have 212/226 respectively, the Orian Preacher Catalyst reaches 240, and the Exacter Scripture has 192 Spell Power at +10.

Radiant Catalyst Upgrade Cost

Upgrading a Catalyst to +10 increases its scaling and slightly improves Spell Power. All Catalysts cost the same materials to upgrade:
