How to Respec in Lords of the Fallen

Learn how to respec your build in Lords of the Fallen (2023) using a Rebirth Chrysalis at Skyrest. Find locations and costs.

You can respec your character's build in Lords of the Fallen (2023), but it is not available from the start of the game. To respec, you will need a Rebirth Chrysalis. Initially, these are limited, but you can eventually purchase them infinitely from the Umbral Shrine once it is ranked up, though this is costly. When you have a Rebirth Chrysalis, speak to Pieta in Skyrest and select the “Reset Build” option. This will allow you to reinvest all the Vigor you have spent, resetting your stats to the original base stats of your chosen class. For example, if you selected the Exiled Stalker class, your Agility will remain at 16 even after a respec.

Where to Find Rebirth Chrysalises:

• Rebirth Chrysalis 1: Purchase from Molhu at Skyrest for 8,500 Vigor. To access Molhu, switch to the Umbral Realm in Skyrest and go up the stairs opposite Pieta.
• Rebirth Chrysalis 2: Found as World Loot in the Fief of the Chill Curse after beating the Fief beacon boss. Go through the beacon’s tower, enter the Umbral Realm, and follow the riverbed downstream from the nearby river. Enter the ruined village by Soul Flaying barriers; the Rebirth Chrysalis is in a room on the left.
• Rebirth Chrysalis 3: Found as World Loot in the Tower of Penance, in an upper cell accessed via parkour from the top of the tower.
• Rebirth Chrysalis 4: Sold by an NPC (non-player character — anyone the game controls, not you) called Winterberry, who is encountered later in the game.
• Rebirth Chrysalis 5+: Purchase an infinite amount from the Umbral Shrine next to Molhu in Skyrest. This requires the shrine to reach tier 2 (a community-wide unlock) and costs 250 plucked eyeballs per Rebirth Chrysalis.
