How to Make a Bratburst

Alright, so you want to blow stuff up in the backyard? Awesome! The Bratburst is your go-to explosive for clearing out barricades and generally making a mess. To get the recipe, you'll need to analyze either a Fungal Growth or a Red Ant Egg at a Resource Analyzer. Once you've got the recipe, you can craft these bad boys to clear your path.

When you're ready to use a Bratburst, just equip it and toss it or drop it. It'll go boom after a short timer. If you mess up the throw or it lands in water, no worries! The timer stops, and you can just pick it back up and try again. Super handy for those tricky spots, like blasting open the Haze Lab door.

How to Get Fungal Growths

First up, Fungal Growths! You get these by taking down infected insects and Haze Fungus. Think Infected Gnats, Weevils, and Larvae – basically anything in the Haze area that looks glowing and a bit moldy. Heads up: You'll need a Gas Mask before you can even think about venturing into the Haze!

How to Get Red Ant Eggs

Next, Red Ant Eggs. You'll find these in the Red Anthill. At first, you might only spot a couple, but if you hang around and fight a bunch of red ants, they'll start hatching more eggs to replace their fallen comrades. If you can wait a day or two after a big ant brawl, the anthill will be packed with eggs! Just a heads-up, these eggs are on a timer. If you don't use them quickly, they'll hatch into red ants, so try to craft your explosives ASAP.

How to Get Dry Grass Chunks

Finally, Dry Grass Chunks. The easiest way to get these is by chopping down Dry Grass blades with an axe. If you don't have one yet, you'll need to craft a Pebblet Axe first. Later on, you can also build a Jerky Rack and dry out Plant Fiber to make more Dry Grass Chunks.
