To even know how to make the Gill Tube, you've gotta analyze an Eelgrass Strand. You'll need a Resource Analyzer for this. Once you've analyzed it, the recipe will pop into your crafting menu.

Where to Find Your Materials

Let's break down how to get each bit:

• Lilypad Wax: This stuff is easy to grab. Just head over to the big lilypads in the Koi Pond and look underneath them. You don't need any tools for this, just your hands!
• Eelgrass Strands: You'll find these in the water, growing like tall, green seaweed with black dots. To get the strands, you need to chop down the Eelgrass. Any tier of dagger will work, so even your basic Pebblet Dagger is fine. If you don't have a Pebblet Dagger yet, you can unlock its recipe by analyzing Lilypad Wax. You can then craft it with x2 Pebblets, x2 Crude Rope, and x2 Lilypad Wax.
• Silk Rope: This is made using a Spinning Wheel. You'll need x1 Web Fiber, which you get from attacking spider webs. If you haven't built a Spinning Wheel yet, you'll need to do that first. You might also have found some Silk Rope already if you've explored the Hedge Lab – if so, awesome, you can use that!
