Master Part 6 of Gears of War 4 with our comprehensive walkthrough. Learn strategies for combat, find collectibles like Cog tags, and prepare for the boss fight.
Walkthrough
- 1Upon exiting the cell, choose to go straight into the fight or take the tutorial.
- 2If you choose the fight path: Head north in the big room to find the first Cog tag (CT1) under something red on the wall. Take cover behind a low wall with two roof supports. Enemies will appear from the north; use melee if they get too close.
- 3If you choose the tutorial path: Head up the stairs, press the button on the desk, and proceed through the opened door. Shoot the two small boxes with orange lights to open the next door. Navigate the room with small cover walls. Kick open the door at the end and proceed. Take cover behind the low wall. If you die, reload checkpoint. Melee if enemies get too close. Hit the switch inside the small building and hold A to roadie run before the door closes. Go out the door, down the stairs, and through the door at the bottom to stock up on grenades. Dispose of enemies in the next room, then follow the path right and down the stairs.
- 4Continue into the next room and take cover immediately. Shoot enemies when your health is full. Find new cover if you are being injured.
- 5After clearing the enemies, if you need ammo, get it from the ammo box under the hanging bodies.
- 6When orange sparks appear around the door, equip a grenade, aim, and hold R. Time your throw to hit the enemies as the door opens. Switch to your gun and blast any survivors.
- 7When Dom says, "Let's get out of here!", do not follow him immediately. Head towards the hanging bodies, face the exit door, turn 180 degrees, and head straight until you reach a brown brick wall. Go around the wall and straight ahead. To your right, you will see a table turned on its side. Look right from the ammo box to see an ammo crate. Near this crate is the second Cog tag (CT2).
- 8Head outside.
Tips
- The tutorial path is recommended for first-time players to practice mechanics.
- If enemies get too close, melee them, as you may not have a shotgun or chainsaw yet.
- Conserve your health; never let it get too red.
- If you are injured even when taking cover, find new cover as enemies may have a better vantage point.
- Timing your grenade throw when the Locusts burst through the door can eliminate multiple enemies at once.
- Dom may appear to die when Locusts burst through the door, which is a cue to learn the revive mechanic (stand over downed allies and press X).
- 2 Cog tags (CT1, CT2)
