Hey there! Welcome to Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster. This guide is going to walk you through the story, starting right from the very beginning with this Prologue section. It's divided up into this part and then three main Acts.

So, the very first thing you'll do when you boot up a new game (especially if you're playing the PAL, International, or Remaster versions) is choose your Sphere Grid. You've got two options: Standard or Expert. If this is your very first time diving into Spira, I'd honestly recommend the Standard Sphere Grid. It gives you more room to really max out stats later on and helps you avoid some tricky spots that can pop up with the Expert Grid. The Expert Grid does offer more flexibility for how you develop your characters, though. If your main goal is crushing it in the postgame, there's a more in-depth comparison of the Sphere Grids available elsewhere, but just remember – once you pick one, that's it, you're locked in for the whole game!

In the Remaster version, you'll also get to pick your music style. You can go with the Arranged soundtrack or stick with the Original. Honestly, both have their good points, so just pick whichever sounds best to you. The cool thing is, you can actually switch between them anytime in the game's menu, so don't stress too much about this choice.

Just a heads-up, this walkthrough will contain spoilers.
