Home Exterior

Upon arriving at Home, you can still access other areas on the island. Collect Al Bhed Primer XIX from the western wall and two Hi-Potions by examining Keyakku's body in the west-central area. Remember, you cannot return to Bikanel Island after this point until Act 3.

Home Entrance

Proceed to the central platform where you will encounter three Bombs (weak to Ice) and a Guado Guardian. Stealing from the Bombs is recommended for obtaining Bomb Cores. Exit to the east after the battle.

Home's Main Corridor

Main Corridor, Part 1

You will face a Guado Guardian and two Dual Horns. Enemies here are stronger versions of earlier foes, with higher HP but generally unchanged offensive stats. Bombs are weak to Ice, Evil Eye to Fire, and Chimera resists Fire and Water. Status attacks are effective, and Confusion protection is highly recommended.

Living Quarters 1

In this room, defeat two Dual Horns and a Guado Guardian. Collect Al Bhed Primer XX from the bed. The southern chest offers a choice of items, with Elixir being the best prize. The northern chest requires password input; correctly answering three questions yields a Friend Sphere. If you have collected many Al Bhed Primers, these chests become easier.

Main Corridor, Part 2

Head down the stairs to the north and find a chest with four Al Bhed Potions along the west wall. Continue to the eastern branch of the fork and collect Al Bhed Primer XXI at the end of the hallway.

• Enemies: Bomb, Chimera, Dual Horn, Evil Eye, Guado Guardian

Living Quarters 2

Defeat a Guado Guardian and two Chimeras. The first chest contains a Special Sphere, obtained by solving a series of math operations. The second chest involves a translation quiz; correct answers grant a Skill Sphere. Having many Al Bhed Primers simplifies the translation quiz.
