An Army of One Bonus:

To get the "An Army of One" bonus in final fantasy type 0, you must complete a mission solo without anyone else in your reserves. It is best to wait until later in the game when your characters are stronger. Choose an early mission from the Missions menu at the title screen. Ensure the mission does not end with a boss and do not accept help. War missions on the overworld map do not count towards this bonus.

A Lonely Battle Bonus:

This trophy/achievement requires completing a mission with only two people in your party and no one in reserves.

A Select Few Bonus:

This trophy/achievement requires completing a mission with only three people in your party and no one in reserves.

Perfect Marks Trophy:

Achieving an S rank on a mission is challenging. You can replay completed missions via the Missions option on the title menu. To get an S rank, you must be quick, harvest a high number of Phantoma, and ensure no characters in your party die. Each mission has unique requirements. Completing at least nine objectives and finishing the battle under 20 minutes without any party member dying will grant an S rank on Operation Reconquista (Chapter 2, Mission 2), which has no Phantoma requirements.

Miraculous Mission Trophy:

Completed a mission without allowing any casualties.

Mystery of Magic & Secret of Souls Trophies:

Phantoma is a game mechanic where you target a downed enemy and absorb their Phantoma to upgrade magic spells. Some bosses and enemies on the overworld during war missions do not yield Phantoma.

  • Mystery of Magic: Harvested 100 phantoma.
  • Secret of Souls: Harvested 500 phantoma.

Communing with the Gods & The Beastmaster Trophies:

You obtain four Eidolons by progressing through the story. Variations can also be obtained by completing specific SOs (sub-objectives) during missions.

  • Communing with the Gods: Forged a covenant with an Eidolon.
  • The Beastmaster: Forged covenants with 6 Eidolons.
  • Rubicante (Ifrit Variation): Defeat Brionac within 5 minutes in Operation MA Demolition.
  • Vulcan (Ifrit Variation): Complete the SO during The Battle of Judecca by defeating Mikazuchi (a horse-like dragon).

Skilled Slayer & The Executioner Trophies:

Killsights are red circles that appear when locked onto an enemy, indicating an instant kill if hit. Each normal enemy has a Killsight opportunity. You can farm Killsights in the arena on soldiers or on Flans, which are slow and have easy-to-dodge basic attacks.

  • Skilled Slayer: Landed Killsight strikes on 20 enemies.
  • The Executioner: Landed Killsight strikes on 100 enemies.

A Simple Skirmish & A Full-Scale War Trophies:

These trophies are awarded for defeating enemies. Kills made during story progression and mission replays count towards these.

Tips
  • Replaying early missions is the easiest way to achieve bonuses like "An Army of One" and "A Lonely Battle" once your characters are sufficiently leveled.
  • Pay close attention to SO prompts during missions to forge covenants with Eidolons.
  • Focus on Killsights when fighting enemies to quickly earn "Skilled Slayer" and "The Executioner."
