Master Operation Sticky Fingers in Final Fantasy Type-0 HD! Learn S-Rank requirements, enemy strategies, and navigate the back alleys and rooftops to defeat the commander.
Alright, let's tackle Operation Sticky Fingers! This mission becomes available in Chapter 7, and you'll want to be around level 46 before you jump in. The goal here is to take down an enemy commander and snag some documents he's carrying. Simple enough, right? Well, he's not going to just hand them over – he'll make a run for it!
S-Rank Requirements:
| Time Limit | Phantoma | Casualties |
| 5:00 | 14 | 0 |
- 1
Back Alley
You start off needing to defeat the enemy commander. As soon as you spot him, he bolts! He'll run up the stairs and onto the roof. If you can't take him down immediately, expect to run into some Imperial Soldiers and Coeurls as you chase him. Keep on his tail and head up to the roof.
- 2
Rooftop
He won't be waiting for you on the roof, but you've got a different set of problems: two Panjandrums and a Helldiver. You'll need to defeat all three of them quickly before you can proceed inside the building.
- 3
Abandoned Building
Once you get inside, visibility is pretty low due to smoke, and your lock-on range is reduced. Navigate through the smoke until you reach a large room. This is where the enemy commander is waiting, along with two Freaks. You'll need to defeat all three of them to complete the mission.
These Freaks are similar to the boss Akkad from the "Escaping the Imperial Capital" mission. They have the same moveset and change tactics as their health drops. Initially, they'll use either a spinning slash or an overhead sword attack. It's probably best to focus on the enemy commander first, then deal with the Freaks, so you aren't overwhelmed.
When their health gets low, they'll start sprinting at you more, and their spinning attack will last longer. A Breaksight will appear after this move. In their final phase, they'll unleash shockwaves from their sword, making them super dangerous. Try to focus on taking down one Freak at a time, especially during this phase, so you don't have both of them blasting shockwaves at you simultaneously. The mission wraps up once all enemies are defeated.
- Focus on the commander first in the final room to thin out the enemies.
- Be prepared for the Freaks' shockwave attack in their final phase – dodging is key.
